Too sweet to die, too beautiful and nice But here he lies asleep forever Bubbles my hamster, a relative of mice He should not die tonight, not ever Bubbles the hamster with pride and joy Makes a human’s life happiest of all With sensitive whiskers, that little boy Shall walk down death hall In the green grass he lies So peaceful and rested Under the glorious blue skies He shall forever be nested Upon that cloud in Heaven He is happy once more Playing with a group of seven And lying by the seashore My little Bubbles so cute and sweet Who sparkled like an ember From now on all day and night he shall sleep He forever gave me something to remember With Love, Julia |
